Nice to meet you! I’m Lisa Reitz and I am a writer (among other things) that lives in the Keweenaw region of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. My favorite places in the Keweenaw are quiet ones – home, hiking trails, cemeteries and off-the-beaten path beaches. I host a vacation rental, co-own a small farm, and spend my free time with family and friends. Before I moved to the Keweenaw, I was a successful marketing executive with a bachelor’s and master’s degree along with being a profusive volunteer. I have also been in adjunct faculty roles for nearly 20 years. On our move to the Keweenaw in 2017, my family left pieces of the past behind in effort to ditch the rat race and pursue a soul-filling lifestyle.

In 2025, I launched Snowdrift Press, LLC which I write, design and publish my “Circle the World” Word Search and Color series under. You see, I’ve been sick with the travel bug for most of my adult life and now that I have time to do immersive travel I aim to bring these places to light for tourists and locals through place-based knowledgeable and unique word search puzzles.

While I continue to develop new Word Search and Color books, my biggest effort is toward my first novel, a historical fiction that intertwines the lives of two women from different eras, each on her own journey, as they discover powerful and unexpected connections that transcend time.
